Empleo y visita de Emiliano García-Page19 de February de 2026En SEBN ES damos un paso más en nuestro compromiso con el empleo y el desarrollo industrial de Cuenca. El miércoles 4 de febrero tuvimos el honor de recibir en nuestra planta al presidente de Castilla-La Mancha, Emiliano García-Page, acompañado por el alcalde de Cuenca, Darío Dolz, el vicepresidente José Luis Martínez Guijarro y la consejera de Economía, Empresas y Empleo, Patricia Franco Jiménez.Durante la visita se presentaron los avances de los programas de Formación Profesional en el Ámbito Laboral, desarrollados junto al Gobierno regional:🔹 48 participantes en el programa de formación dual🔹 37 incorporaciones inmediatas a SEBN ESGracias a estos resultados, se ha aprobado la puesta en marcha de tres nuevos programas formativos, que permitirán que otras 45 personas puedan incorporarse próximamente a nuestra plantilla.Actualmente ya somos 111 profesionales y seguimos creciendo. Tal y como explicó Hans Paul Thyssen, nuestro CFO & Managing , el objetivo es alcanzar el pleno rendimiento de la factoría en un plazo de 18 a 24 meses, momento en el que prevemos llegar a una plantilla de 350 personas.El crecimiento industrial de Cuenca avanza de la mano de SEBN ES y del talento que impulsa cada día nuestra planta.Queremos agradecer especialmente al equipo de SEBN ES Cuenca por su dedicación y esfuerzo diario. Gracias a vuestro trabajo seguimos avanzando con paso firme y trabajando intensamente para alcanzar los objetivos que nos hemos marcado.

October 30 marked an important milestone for Sumitomo Electric Bordnetze SE and Castilla-La Mancha with the inauguration of our new production plant in Cuenca.
This plant is especially significant for us, as it is the first SEBN ES production facility in Spain. This new facility complements our customer service center in Pamplona, established in 2001, and our development center in Martorell, operational since 2012.We have chosen “Impulse” as our motto in Cuenca, symbolizing the start of a new era and the establishment of a path to a successful future. We would especially like to thank and congratulate the employees who make up the Cuenca team for their dedication and effort.We are deeply grateful and excited to have shared this moment with so many guests, celebrating together our vision of a sustainable and forward-looking automotive industry. How will it be done in Cuenca?
Cuenca will manufacture the high-voltage wiring harnesses for the customers' electric vehicles. After commissioning, around 350 people are expected to be employed.
The recruitment process has already begun.
Cuenca will be an exceptional and innovative plant. For the first time in SEBN's history, the majority of the wiring harnesses will be manufactured with a high degree of automation. This makes the Sumitomo Electric Bordnetze Group a pioneer in wiring harness automation.
