SEBN ES (SEBN) is an automotive<\/strong> company that belongs to the Sumitomo Electric Bordnetze SE<\/strong> (SEBN) group and is dedicated to the design and manufacturing of wiring harnesses<\/strong> for the automotive industry.

In the SEBN group, more than 36,000 people<\/strong> work in various production plants and work centers in Europe, North Africa, China, and Mexico<\/strong>, with its headquarters in Germany<\/strong> (Wolfsburg).

Responsibility<\/strong>, Respect<\/strong>, Trust<\/strong>, and Cohesion<\/strong> are the values<\/strong> of the SEBN group.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

History<\/h3><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

In Spain, it started<\/strong> its activity in 2001<\/strong> as a customer service center in Pamplona<\/strong> , and later in 2012 a development center was established<\/strong> in Martorell.<\/strong>

Currently, the market for automated electric cars is being boosted, both for existing and new customers.

SEBN ES is an automotive<\/strong> company that belongs to the Sumitomo Electric Bordnetze SE (SEBN)<\/strong> group.

Sumitomo Electric Bordnetze SE<\/mark><\/a><\/strong> belongs to the Sumitomo Electric Group<\/strong>, which mother company is Sumitomo Electric Industries (SEI) in Japan. SEI is one of the oldest companies in the world<\/strong>, with over 400 years of history<\/strong>. It was founded by a Buddhist monk who, after leaving his time as a monk, transferred his understanding to business, encapsulating them in the principles outlined in \u201cSumitomo Spirit\u201d<\/strong>, which are the foundation of the organization. SEI consists of around 380 subsidiaries<\/strong> and has about 280,000 employees<\/strong>.

The culture<\/strong> of Sumitomo Electric, based on Sumitomo Spirit<\/strong>, has been what has allowed it to endure and adapt throughout history.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n\n\n

Opening in Cuenca<\/h4>

Due to its highly successful cooperation with customers and the execution of future-oriented projects, SEBN was awarded important manufacturing contracts, which led to the establishment of a new manufacturing plant in Cuenca.<\/p>

Production begins in Cuenca<\/h4>

Cuenca will manufacture high-voltage wiring harnesses for customers' electric vehicles. After start-up, some 350 people are expected to be employed. The hiring process has already begun.<\/p>

This location started as a logistics center and is now a service center for the SEBN Group. Some of the services provided by the 30 employees in Pamplona are supply chain analysis, transport digitization and engineering services for production plants.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n
